As much as the Harem trope is annoying, it's actually oddly refreshing to see one that continues even after confessions - To-LOVE-Ru excluded, because that one basically just turned into softcore porn. Showing the strangeness that would come with a naturally dense, oblivious-to-love MC being told 'out of the blue' by people that they love him is actually pretty interesting, so I continue to be cautiously intrigued.
...I'm basically more interested in that than the romance, at this point. Maybe that's just how I'm coping with the "obvious destined love interest + obvious extras that have no chance" harem trope.
