RIP Ria. Even with a condom, the sweat from actually having sex would lead to her overdosing. Literally too much of a good thing. |

@Kayriel 'catch-22' pretty much MEANS 'damned if you do, damned if you don't'. Its when you have two choices, and they both screw you in some way. |

@Riger Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation here. In that case, he has nothing to lose by trying to figure out how to control it. World has the potential to pop due to him either way. Maybe see if the scientist human chick left behind some sort of 'training limiter' device to reduce his output while he tries to learn control. |

@Kayriel Yes. But he hasn't actually TRIED to learn to control his power, either. He used it once, got scared, and bottled it up. And you know what happens when pressure builds in a bottle, right? And his raw power is a HELL of a lot of pressure. |

@Riger I'm very familiar with the concept, which is part of my worry. In order to train up, you have to push yourself to the limits. But in order to train precision and restraint, you need to use it while also trying to hold back. Problem is, when he's actively 'using' his power, he DOES crater the earth and become a living calamity. That's my concern. I can't tell if it's because he doesn't know how much to hold back, or if he can't hold back so much as he doesn't know how much of it to let out. If he's completely null on understanding either form of emission, then we have the worst-case scenario I was envisioning. |

@Kayriel I don't think training is as big a problem as you say, though. He isn't training in his physical abilities at all and he isn't breaking people like eggshells. He isn't cratering the ground with every step. The fire spell straight up was with no training to control his energy at all. And the elf was a fu**ing idiot for doing it that way, because she's responsible. There's ALWAYS a 'sensing' or 'controlling' part to elemental magic in isekai unless they have a 'status' or some modifier that increases the sensing to 'natural'. Like that series where the mc has every type of magic stat at 777 times his base. He got the power, but he also got the control. Your complaint is a catch-22, though. If he never even attempts to train himself...well... Go read 'Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex'. |

@Riger I agree that being an uncontrolled power makes it far more terrifying. But what scares me, and what might scare him, is an uncontrolled power that can destroy everything while trying to figure out how to control it. Like, how could you do muscle-training to figure out how to control your impossible strength if a certain group of muscles twitching destroys the city you're in? How would you train magic when the weakest spell can wipe out continents? I'd be afraid to even try a 'clean up' spell simply because it might 'clean' away things at the molecular level, causing everything to evaporate into particulates. You want the power to be controlled to be safe, but how do you actually control it without causing the disasters you're trying to avoid? He's too strong, and if the world's governing bodies found out he was alive, they'd either want him or want him dead. Because a power that they don't control is a threat to their rule, for sure... but HIS power is a threat to the planet in general. |

@Kayriel Maybe. But being a main character rules out genocide unless they're actively a villain, or the genocide is against demons like in that 'level 2' isekai where he murders an entire hostile army by accident. Admittedly, erasing a moon should have actually caused countless deaths from the tides and other things altering severely. But 'magic', right? I honestly feel that his power is more terrifying BECAUSE its not controlled. One sneeze with any magic in it and everything dies. And as long as he aims everything into space and avoids the other moon, it should be fine. There's no way in hell I wouldn't train an insane amount of power like that just from fear of accidentally ending the world I was standing on, you know? Imagine some earth magic near a major fault line that could cause the planet to shake apart with the amount of raw power he has. Uncontrolled power like that would be an absolute nightmare. |

@Riger I think he might have tried that by now at first if he wasn't... THIS strong. He did completely erase a moon, after all. More than anything I think he's RIGHTLY afraid of his own power. As he should be. It's not a 'let's try it out until you get used to it' sorta deal. One small mistake and he can literally destroy the entire planet. |
